Compensation: $35,000 – $45,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
Position Overview :
The Universal Banker serves as a comprehensive resource for customers’ banking needs, offering both teller services and financial advisory support. This role is crucial for delivering exceptional customer service, providing tailored solutions that enhance clients’ financial well-being.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct routine banking transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.
- Assist customers in opening new accounts, applying for loans, and setting up various banking services.
- Identify customers’ financial needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve customer service issues or escalate them as needed.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of bank policies, products, and compliance regulations.
- Manage cash drawer and daily reconciliation procedures.
- Foster relationships with customers to build long-term loyalty.
- Collaborate with other team members to meet branch objectives and targets.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field is a plus.
- A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in banking or a customer service role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities.
- Familiarity with banking software and MS Office applications.
- Must pass a background check and other compliance screenings.
