Job Description : Residential Aide

Department: Residential Services

Reports To: Residential Manager

Employment Status: Full-Time/Part-Time

Compensation: $12 – $18 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications


Position Overview :

The Residential Aide serves as a critical support figure within the residential facility, focusing on residents’ well-being and daily life. This role entails various responsibilities, including assisting with personal care, medication management, and fostering a secure and comfortable living environment.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation.
  • Administer medications as prescribed and maintain accurate medication records.
  • Monitor the health and safety of residents, reporting any concerns or incidents to the Residential Manager.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of social and recreational activities for residents.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in common areas and residents’ personal spaces.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred.
  • Previous experience in healthcare or residential care is advantageous.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate attitude towards residents.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety regulations.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
