Position Overview :

The Production Scheduler is responsible for coordinating and optimizing the production schedule in alignment with company objectives and customer demands. This role is essential in ensuring timely and cost-effective manufacturing processes, contributing to the overall efficiency of the organization.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Create, monitor, and adjust production schedules based on order volumes, equipment availability, and resource constraints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as Sales, Inventory, and Manufacturing to synchronize production plans.
  • Analyze and report on key performance indicators, including throughput, lead times, and productivity.
  • Evaluate and prioritize work orders to optimize workflow and meet delivery deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot scheduling issues and propose corrective actions to mitigate delays.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the production management software.
  • Act as a liaison between the production team and other departments, ensuring smooth communication.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in production scheduling or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in production planning software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Must pass a background check and any other applicable screenings.
