Job Summary :

The Human Resources Specialist is responsible for executing HR-related tasks and managing various aspects of employee relations and HR administration. This position requires an experienced individual who can manage multiple HR initiatives, from recruitment to training and development, and serve as a point of contact for employee queries.


Key Responsibilities :

Recruitment and Staffing :

  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
  • Collaborate with department managers to identify staffing needs and ensure timely recruitment.

Employee Relations :

  • Address employee concerns and queries regarding office policies, benefits, and other HR-related topics.
  • Assist in conflict resolution and facilitate open communication between staff and management.

Training and Development :

  • Coordinate and oversee employee training sessions, workshops, and seminars.
  • Assess the need for training and development opportunities and make recommendations.

Benefits Administration :

  • Manage and maintain employee benefits programs such as health insurance, vacation, and retirement plans.
  • Provide detailed information about benefits to employees and assist with any related queries.

Compliance and Record Keeping :

  • Ensure all HR activities and processes are in compliance with local, state, and federal laws.
  • Keep electronic and physical records of employee files updated.

Performance Management :

  • A Support the creation and execution of employee performance assessments.
  • Coordinate regular review cycles and ensure managers and staff are informed.

Compensation :

  • Participate in compensation benchmarking exercises.
  • Assist with the annual review of salaries and wage adjustments.

Required Qualifications :

  • Possesses a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a similar discipline.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in an HR role.
  • In-depth understanding of labor laws and payroll procedures.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities, with strong interpersonal acumen.
  • Skilled in using HRIS (Human Resources Information System) and adept with Microsoft Office Suite.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR).
  • Experience with talent acquisition platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).

Working Conditions :

  • General office environment.
  • Occasional travel may be required for training or conferences.

Compensation :

Base Salary: $50,000 – $70,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Bonus: Eligible for annual performance-based bonus, which can range from 5% to 10% of the base salary.
