Position Overview :
The Floor Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing daily operations on the sales floor, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. This role involves staff management, inventory control, and customer interaction and is pivotal for maintaining a high standard of service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise and direct the activities of sales and floor staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Ensure the sales floor is well-organized, stocked, and properly presented.
- Address and resolve customer complaints and inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate restocking activities.
- Enforce company policies and regulations, ensuring staff compliance.
- Coordinate with the Store Manager to implement sales promotions and in-store events.
- Produce sales and performance reports for senior management.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, complying with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is a plus.
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and point-of-sale systems.
- Must pass a background check and any other required screenings.
