Position Overview :
The Design Director serves as a creative leader within the organization, steering the overall design direction and ensuring the visual identity aligns with the company’s mission and brand. This role involves supervising the design team, developing creative strategies, and executing high-quality design projects.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead and manage the design team, providing mentorship, guidance, and feedback.
- Develop and implement design strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
- Oversee the design process for various projects, from conceptualization to final execution.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product development, and engineering.
- Review and approve designs, artwork, and graphics developed by team members.
- Stay abreast of design trends and industry best practices, implementing them as appropriate.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of professional design experience, with a proven track record in leadership roles.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, attention to detail, and mastery of design principles.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
