Department: Social Services

Reports To: Case Manager or Social Services Director

Employment Status: Full-Time / Part-Time

Compensation: $15 – $20 per hour, commensurate with experience


Overview :

The Case Aide serves as an essential support role within the Social Services department, providing both administrative and direct service support to Case Managers and clients. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of client services and assisting in the implementation of care plans.


Key Responsibilities :

  • Assist Case Managers with administrative tasks such as data entry, record maintenance, and appointment scheduling.
  • Facilitate effective communication between clients and Case Managers.
  • Support clients by accompanying them to essential appointments and meetings when necessary.
  • Aid in the initial intake process for new clients, including initial screenings and documentation.
  • Coordinate and distribute basic material resources to clients, such as food aid or clothing.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality guidelines and organizational protocols.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisory staff.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Human Services, or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in social services or a related field is desirable.
  • Strong administrative skills, including proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must successfully pass a background check and drug screening.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
