Compensation: $40,000 – $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications
Position Overview :
The Accounting Associate is a vital member of the Finance and Accounting team, responsible for performing a variety of accounting and financial tasks. This role aids in maintaining accurate records, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable duties, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
- Conduct bank reconciliations and maintain accurate financial ledgers.
- Assist with budgeting and financial forecasting activities.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes.
- Prepare and submit tax forms and other regulatory filings.
- Participate in internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Adhere to organizational financial policies and regulations.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in an accounting role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must pass a background check and other compliance screenings.
