Position Overview :

The Social Media Assistant plays a pivotal role within the marketing department, aiding in the development and execution of social media plans, crafting content, and engaging with the online community. Key Responsibilities :

  • Contribute to the development and implementation of social media initiatives on multiple platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
  • Generate and assemble compelling content, ranging from graphics and videos to articles, for distribution across social channels.
  • Analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign effectiveness and furnish data-driven recommendations for upcoming strategies and content.Interact with followers by responding to comments, messages, and mentions, ensuring a positive brand experience.
  • Support the Social Media Manager in day-to-day administrative tasks, such as scheduling posts and organizing digital assets.
  • Stay up-to-date with social media trends and platform updates to provide recommendations for strategy enhancements.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent; a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field is a plus.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in social media marketing or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools, such as Hootsuite or Buffer.
  • Basic skills in graphic design software, such as Adobe Photoshop or Canva.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must pass a background check and any other required screenings.
