Job Summary :

The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the company, ensuring efficiency, smooth workflow, and optimal resource utilization. This role requires strategic planning, team management, and a deep understanding of both the day-to-day and broader business functions.


Key Responsibilities :

Operational Planning and Strategy :

  • Develop and implement operational strategies in line with the company’s objectives.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set operational goals and KPIs.

Resource Management :

  • Ensure optimal utilization of resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment.
  • Oversee procurement processes and inventory management to ensure cost-effectiveness and timely availability of resources.

Process Improvement :

  • Regularly review operational processes and procedures.
  • Implement best practices and ensure continuous improvement.

Team Management and Leadership :

  • Lead, guide, and mentor operational teams.
  • Manage recruitment, training, and performance evaluations for operational staff.

Financial Management :

  • Oversee the operational budget, ensuring minimal expenditure while maximizing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to set budgets and monitor operational costs.

Compliance and Regulation :

  • Ensure all operations comply with industry standards, regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulations to ensure the company’s readiness and compliance.

Stakeholder Communication :

  • Serve as the point of contact for operational inquiries from partners, vendors, and clients.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth inter-departmental functions.

Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an operations management role.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient in operations-related software and tools, including ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • MBA or relevant Master’s Degree.
  • Certifications in Project Management or Lean/Six Sigma.

Working Conditions :

  • General office environment but may require occasional visits to production sites or warehouses.
  • Might require occasional travel for vendor/partner meetings or industry events.

Compensation :

Base Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.

Bonus: Eligible for an annual performance-based bonus, which can range from 10% to 20% of the base salary, depending on company performance and individual achievements.
